West Star Aviation, Inc. to Install Automatic Throttle System for the Hawker 800 Series Aircraft East Alton, IL, September 25, 2007 – West Star Aviation, Inc. is pleased announced that, in conjunction with Safe Flight Instrument Corporation, they are working toward installation of Safe Flight’s automatic throttle system — AutoPower for the Hawker 800 Series Business Jets. AutoPower will be certified under a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Hawker 800 Series by West Star Aviation, Inc. and is expected to be ready for delivery in about twelve months.
