West Star Aviation takes over maintenance operations at Aspen Pitkin County Airport
Grand Junction, CO, November 20, 2008 – West Star Aviation, Inc. is pleased to announce it will be taking over the maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (ASE) beginning November 20, 2008.
Jim Benninger will assume the position as the Aspen Airframe Team Leader positionand two full-time maintenance technicians will be available at ASE. In addition, due to the close proximity of their Grand Junction facility, West Star Aviation can staff the ASE operation commensurate with the amount of work required. This flexibility will allow West Star Aviation to provide an even greater level of support for ASE flight operations. Therefore, ASE maintenance operations become another step in the West Star Aviation overall strategy of total customer support.

We are fully operational in Aspen for Maintenance. Our hangar is big enough for Hawker 800/Citation 650/Falcon 20 size aircraft. And we have access to a hangar big enough for GIV/Challenger. There are only 2 A&Ps full time in Aspen, and we will be supplementing them out of Grand Junction as needed.
