West Star Aviation, Inc. Performs First 30 Year CPCP Inspection on Falcon 50
West Star Aviation, Inc., formerly Premier Air Center, is currently performing one of the first,
30-Year Corrosion Prevention Control Program (CPCP) inspections on a Falcon 50. The
East Alton, Illinois location is completing the CPCP inspection on Falcon 50, s/n 088 combined
with a “4C” airframe inspection.
Compliance with Dassault Service Bulletin 460, and the requirements for application of the
CPCP on a Falcon 50 to maintain airworthiness beyond the aircraft’s 30-year service life, is
critical to the continued operation of Falcon 50 aircraft.
“Being one of the first to complete this inspection expands our already industry leading
experience on Falcon aircraft,” says Jim Swehla, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing,
West Star Aviation, Inc. “Our deep experience allows us to more accurately provide pricing and
down time estimates to operators. We can now share more of our working knowledge and
technical expertise when dealing with customers and completing Service Bulletin 460 on Falcon
50 aircraft.”
The inspection entails compliance with lists of service bulletins, Chapter 5-10 requirements,
Chapter 5-40 requirements, and research of Modified PSE’s.
