Our East Alton, Illinois location is conveniently situated at the St. Louis Regional Airport (ALN), providing easy access while avoiding the high traffic of major nearby airports. West Star East Alton is a full-service fixed-base operator (FBO) featuring over 323,000 sq. ft. of hangar, shop, and office space, along with more than 200,000 sq. ft. of ramp space. Our facility includes dedicated maintenance hangars, as well as specialized shops for interior work, cabinetry, avionics, and a state-of-the-art paint facility.

The airport offers a fast, tower-guided approach with wide, long runways. The primary runway (11/29) measures 8,100 ft x 150 ft and has load limits of 200,000 lbs. for dual tandems. It is equipped with ILS, NDB, and DME approaches to runway 29, as well as LOC/BC to runway 11 and NDB access to runway 17. Additionally, a 24-hour ATIS is available. The crosswind runway (17/35) is 6,500 ft x 100 ft, with load limits of 47,000 lbs. for dual configurations and 35,000 lbs. for single configurations.
