With “smoke in cockpit” incidents increasing, it may be time for you to seriously consider having a VisionSafe EVAS system installed in your aircraft. Research shows that there are more than 1000 incidents involving smoke or fumes in the cockpit reported per year in the U.S. alone. One out of every three incidents will require an emergency landing.
West Star Aviation recommends the VisionSafe EVAS System. This proven system protects the pilot’s vision during a smoke in the cockpit related incident by displacing the smoke in the vision path, regardless of density.
This system is recommended by the FAA and other regulatory bodies and is currently protecting more than 50% of long-range business aircraft. It is certified for installation on more than 120 airframes, with 50 airframes currently STCd.
The specialists at West Star Aviation note that this installation can easily be accommodated during major maintenance events but can also be accomplished during smaller events due to the short 2-3 day installation time. Additionally, this installation can be completed at most of West Star Aviation’s locations.
