Modernizing the Falcon 900 & 2000 Cabin: The Benefits of a One-Piece Valance Upgrade

Falcon 900
Falcon 900

Cabin modernization remains one of the most impactful ways to enhance both passenger experience and aircraft value. For Falcon 900 and Falcon 2000 operators, upgrading to a one-piece valance system is a proven solution that delivers immediate aesthetic, functional, and maintenance advantages.

West Star Aviation has successfully completed numerous one-piece valance installations to date across the enterprise, further strengthening our position as a premier interior design and installation resource for business aircraft of all types.

A Cleaner, More Modern Cabin Appearance

The original multi-section valance design can create visual breaks along the cabin sidewall. Replacing it with a streamlined one-piece valance creates a seamless, contemporary look that instantly refreshes the cabin environment.

The result is:

  • A more refined and cohesive interior aesthetic
  • Cleaner lines throughout the cabin
  • An upgraded, modern appearance aligned with current design trends

For owners looking to enhance passenger appeal or increase aircraft marketability, this modification offers a high visual return on investment.

LED Lighting Integration

West Star can incorporate new LED lighting systems as part of the upgrade when not already installed. LED lighting provides:

  • Improved cabin brightness and light distribution
  • Reduced heat output
  • Lower power consumption
  • Longer service life compared to legacy lighting

The addition of modern LED lighting further enhances the contemporary cabin feel while improving operational efficiency.

Improved Passenger Service Unit (PSU) Accessibility

The redesigned one-piece valance integrates a more maintenance-friendly Passenger Service Unit (PSU) configuration. The updated design improves accessibility, simplifies troubleshooting, and reduces maintenance time when servicing lighting, oxygen systems, or other PSU components.

For operators, this means:

  • Reduced maintenance complexity
  • Improved service access
  • Lower long-term maintenance burden

Expert Craftsmanship, World-Class Quality

Interior modifications demand precision craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. West Star Aviation’s experienced interior teams deliver world-class quality across all locations, ensuring each installation meets the highest standards of fit, finish, and regulatory compliance.

From design consultation and material selection to fabrication and final installation, West Star provides turnkey support throughout the entire modification process. Our experience with Falcon platforms ensures smooth project execution and reliable scheduling.

The one-piece valance upgrade for Falcon 900 and Falcon 2000 aircraft delivers measurable improvements in cabin appearance, passenger comfort, lighting performance, and maintenance accessibility.
