Andy Waynick to join interior shop at Columbia, SC location

West Star Aviation recently announced they have hired Andy Waynick as Director of Interiors at their Columbia, South Carolina (CAE) location. West Star added interior services at their CAE location in 2013.

The CAE interior shop is fully equipped to complete a variety of interior projects, such as upholstery, panel recovery, and carpet. West Star has an aggressive plan to continue to add additional capabilities and staff members in the future.

“Adding Andy to our team is a big step towards offering a full range of interior capabilities at CAE,” said    Scott Mullen, Director of Maintenance, West Star Aviation. “We already have two highly experienced technicians in place that specialize in aircraft seats and we are confident that Andy’s solid training and experience will expand our shop’s expertise and aid in providing the high quality service and support customers have come to expect from West Star Aviation.”

With over 20 years of experience, Andy has extensive hands-on experience working on projects ranging from upholstery to design and management. Throughout his career, Andy has been involved with completions ranging from King Air series aircraft to a Boeing 747 aircraft.
