With over 20 years of extensive legal experience in the aviation industry, William will oversee our legal and risk management functions, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service and a superior customer experience.

William’s expertise in navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes equips us to better serve our clients’ evolving needs. His role will enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and safety, providing our clients with the assurance that comes from having dedicated legal oversight.

Before joining West Star Aviation, William served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Wencor Group, overseeing legal affairs for the global aviation company. His previous experience includes key positions at ComAv and Husch Blackwell, as well as serving as lead counsel for aviation transactions at FedEx Express.

William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama and a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.

In his new role, William will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, while continuing to foster outstanding service and collaboration within West Star Aviation.
