West Star Aviation – Chattanooga Completes First Garmin 5000 Install For Citation 560XLS

West Star Aviation’s Chattanooga location recently completed their first Garmin 5000 installation on a Citation 560XLS. The installation marks the continuation of a longstanding relationship between West Star and Garmin to deliver in-demand avionics options to our Citation customers.

The Chattanooga, TN (CHA) location now joins the East Alton, IL and Minneapolis, MN (MSP) locations across the West Star Aviation enterprise that have successfully installed this system in the Citation XLS.

The Garmin 5000 Flight Deck Upgrade is now available for Citation Excel, XLS models and delivers significantly more functionality and improved productivity in the cockpit.

This Flight Deck Upgrade adds LPV and FANS-1/A capabilities as well as Garmin’s upgraded flight displays and touchscreen controllers for flight deck management. Additionally, it provides advanced situational awareness tools to the fold to modernize the flight deck of this popular aircraft.
