West Star Aviation is pleased to announce further expansion at its Chattanooga (CHA) facility with the opening of an additional leased hangar space of 18,000 square feet and 10,000 square feet of back shop support space. The additional space will be used as a dedicated Bombardier Challenger 300/350 support facility.

The facility features enough square footage to accommodate up to three large projects (like 48 ,96 and 192-month inspections) simultaneously, with dedicated interior storage off the hangar floor.  In conjunction with inspections and other maintenance work, the additional facility will provide increase efficiency and workflow for Challenger 300/350 interior refurbishment, avionics upgrades and larger paint projects.

 The hangar is equipped with:

• LED lighting
• Fall protection
• New hangar floor coating
• Upgraded electrical systems

Office space will accommodate the customers with a place for them to work in private along with room for a dedicated project manager, Operations coordinator, and QA personnel . In the coming months, the offices and back shops will be upgraded for the comfort of our valued customers. 

We are delighted to be able to offer this upgraded additional hangar and shop space, providing our team and customers with the much-needed area to service even more aircraft and specifically for our Bombardier Challenger 300/350 customers. To meet this goal, Hangar 21 will have dedicated teams working 1^st, 2^nd and weekend shifts to accommodate the expansion.
